The Massachusetts Middle School Science Fair is a forum for students in grades 6-8 to explore through actual hands-on experience the many exciting and emerging fields of science and technology today. This year, all 7th grade HMS students will participate!

Students will select a topic, gather information, state the question and identify variables.  They will complete an experiment, a research paper and put data into tables and graphs.  They will write an analysis and conclusion.  Final products include:  an experiment, a research paper, a  backboard and a presentation. 

IMPORTANT!  ONCE YOUR RESEARCH PLAN HAS BEEN APPROVED BY YOUR SCIENCE TEACHER, YOU MAY BEGIN YOUR EXPERIMENT!   POSTED 11/10/09

EACH STUDENT OR GROUP OF STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE ONE WHITE TRI-FOLD SCIENCE FAIR BOARD FOR THEIR PRESENTATION (STANDARD 36X48" SIZE).
