October - We will beginning early Middle Eastern civilizations and the acccomplishments of Sumer and Mesopotamia.  Be prepared to discuss the characteristics of civilizations, create a Sumerian seal, create a secondary source depicting Sumerian life and debate Hammurabi's Code.

News

I was impressed with the first test you completed in class last week. 

A few things to check for next time: 

1) Make sure to always read the directions!  I had to take points off if you did not write in complete sentences or use enough information in your written responses.  I will be including an open response rubric for next time so there should be less confusion.

2) The multiple choice sections and true and false were good - keep it up - this will help you for MCAS.

3) The graphic organizers were clear and I noticed that many of you included hints I put in the test into the organizer.  Good work!

4) Don't forget the EXTRA CREDIT!!

5) Pace yourself! You will NOT have extra time to complete a test in the future.

Teamtime - We are continung to prepare for Exchange City.  This month you will be selecting and interviewing for jobs. 

Period C, E, F - remember - our goal for Halloween is to prove that you are ready to pick your own seats.
