Welcome to Sixth Grade Social Studies !!

     This year we will begin with Early Man continuing through the early civilizations in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Nubia, Phoenicia, Greece, and Rome ending with the Fall of the Roman Empire. We will be taking notes, labeling maps, using atlases to better familiarize ourselves with the modern world, participating in individual and group projects, and using a variety of learning modes to help understand the historical periods and personalities.
